Elections 2026

Our students have been learning all about the municipal election! We were lucky to have a visit from our local mayor, who talked to us about formal leadership and the important role leaders play in our community.
Students also learned about the different candidates running in the election and explored their platforms to discover the ideas and changes each candidate hoped to bring to our community.
To wrap up our learning, students had the opportunity to participate in the Student Vote! This was a great way to learn about the voting process, explore how elections work, and understand the importance of having a voice in our community. We are so proud of our students for being engaged, asking questions, and learning about democracy in action!
