π A Bad Case of the Stripes!
We had lots of fun reading A Bad Case of the Stripes by David Shannon! We learned about Camilla, who loved lima beans but was afraid to be herself because she worried about what other people thought.
After reading the story, we talked about our favourite foods and why we love them. We used our senses to describe what our food looks, smells, tastes, feels, and sounds like. Some of us had some very yummy ideas!
Then we got to be creative and design our own colourful stripes on printed faces. We used our imaginations to create all kinds of wild and wonderful patterns. π
This activity helped us practice descriptive writing, sensory language, reading, and art while also reminding us that it is important to be ourselves and celebrate what makes us unique! π

A New Year!
Welcome Back, Grade 3/4! π✏️π
Welcome back, amazing learners! Our classroom is ready for another exciting year filled with new adventures. This year, we’ll read awesome stories, solve tricky (but fun!) math puzzles, explore science experiments, and create cool projects together.
We’ll also play games, make new friends, and cheer each other on as we learn and grow. Our classroom is a team, and every single one of you is an important part of it!
I can’t wait to see the awesome things you’ll discover, share, and achieve this year. Let’s make it the best year yet! π
We're all Smiles! πΈ✨
What an amazing first day in Grade 3/4! Our classroom was full of excitement, big smiles, and lots of energy. We jumped right into learning, building our classroom community, and getting to know each other.
I’m so proud of how everyone started the year with kindness, courage, and curiosity. This is just the beginning of all the wonderful memories we’ll make together this year! π
