Baby Everly's Last Visit to our School!

πŸ’– Goodbye, Baby Everly!

We had a very special day—Baby Everly came to visit our school one last time! She laughed at our silly songs, clapped for our favorite stories, and loved spending time with all of us. We made her a colorful card with all our photos so she could remember us. Everly gave it a big hug and smiled. We will miss her so much and hope she visits again someday!

Baby Everly's 4th visit

Baby Everly Visits Again! πŸ‘ΆπŸ’–

Today we had a very special visitor — Baby Everly came for her 4th visit to our class! She’s 7 months old now and growing fast.

Everly is always so happy — she smiles at everyone and lights up the room! You can tell she absolutely loves her older brother, and it’s so sweet to see them together.

She doesn’t have any teeth yet, but she’s already enjoying yummy foods like pureed carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, strawberries, and even chicken!

Everly also loves to play with her toys and explore the world around her. She’s curious, cute, and full of joy.

Thanks for visiting again, Everly! We love watching you grow! 🍼πŸ₯•πŸ“πŸ’›

Baby Everly’s Third Roots of Empathy Visit

Baby Everly’s Third Roots of Empathy Visit

Today was a special day in our classroom—Baby Everly came to visit for her third "Roots of Empathy" class! We were so excited to see how much she has grown.

Everly now weighs 5.9 kg and measures 66 cm long. That means she has grown 11 cm since we first met her—wow! She is getting stronger too. With her mom’s help, she can now sit up and even stand for a little bit. She also made lots of sounds today. Mrs. Charron thinks she’s learning to use her voice, and we love hearing her little noises!

At 5 months adjusted, Everly is still waiting for her first teeth to arrive. She had fun looking at all of us and holding onto her toy. She is a pretty happy baby, but we learned that she does not like her car seat —it makes her cry!

Next month will be another big milestone for Everly. She is going to try solid food for the first time! Her first taste might be mashed carrots—yum! We can’t wait to see how she likes it.

We always love our time with Everly. She teaches us so much, and we are excited to see what she learns next!

Roots of Empathy with baby Everly

We are participating in the Roots of Empathy program this year, with visits from Everly and Mrs. Charron. It's amazing to observe Everly's behaviors, growth, and changes over time. We make predictions about how she would react to different situations and discussed the importance of empathy in understanding others. It's a wonderful learning experience that is helping us build connections and gain a deeper understanding of emotional growth.

December 2

December 16 - During our second Roots of Empathy visit, Everly slept the whole time! It was still a great opportunity for us to reflect on her growth and development, even if she was resting. We talked about how babies need a lot of sleep and how important it is for their development.
