Our Story

We had the opportunity to work with Leanne Kehler, a storyteller. We would like to thank the Manitoba Arts Council for making this possible with joint funding. She told us stories and helped us learn to make still pictures with our bodies to tell the story. See our finished product below!

We had the opportunity to hear stories told by Mr. Jamie. We enjoyed how interactive and funny his stories were. We had so much fun and laughed a lot!

The Alien Disaster by Carter, Garland, AJ & Tyson

"I liked how we were able to make the UFO fly with the string and the toothpick. We worked really hard on this movie. I liked doing the voices with my friends." Carter

The Snow Wars by Logan, Raymond & Dawson

"It was fun moving the characters taking pictures, and making all the props." Logan

"My favourite part was when the bear and the fox were fighting. I liked how we mixed all our ideas together." Dawson

"It was pretty hard and we worked on it for two days. It was pretty fun. On the recording part it was funny." Raymond

Wonderland by Abby, Taylor B & Amber

Our movie is about a girl named Emily who lives in Wonderland. She travels into the real world and runs into trouble with the Queen of Stars.

"I thought it was really cool how the scenery moved. I loved at the beginning when we all yelled Wonderland!" Abby
