Pakistan

Hassaan took us to his birth country and taught us about places to visit in Pakistan. He shared with us 2 dishes that his family enjoys; Seviyaan, a vermicelli milk pudding and pakori, a savoury fried dough snack filled with potato. They were both delicious!

Spain

We travelled to Spain and sampled a Spanish rice dish that Brooklyn made. Many of us went back for seconds, it was delicious! We also learned about beautiful places to visit and other interesting facts.

Norway

Our first country presentation took us to Norway! We learned about places to visit, the climate and traditional dress. We also got to taste Norwegian Krumkake. It was delicious! Did you know that by 2026 Norway’s new cars will all be electric? Well done Olive!

We Love to Read

Every couple of weeks we read with Ms. Martens’ students. The 1-2s love joining the « big kids ».

Skating

Skating during our gym class is a great opportunity to develop our skills.

Artist in the school

We had the opportunity to hear stories told by Mr. Jamie. We enjoyed how interactive and funny his stories were. We had so much fun and laughed a lot!

Field Trip

In January we got to experience the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. Their music took us through time and through different countries. After the symphony we had a great time exploring the Science Gallery. We played with LEGO, pullies, build your own race cars, mirrors and so much more.
