Blue Bombers bring the Grey Cup to School

Today we had a visit from Mike Benson of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers! We each got to touch the Grey Cup!

Spring Spirit Week

With Spring Break around the corner a Spirit Week was organized by the student council. Best dressed prizes by random draws were given out to one student per grade group each day. Madison won on pattern day!

Olympic Winter Games 2022

Olympic Winter Games

The Olympic Winter Games were held in Beijing China this year. We watched some daily highlights, read about Canadian athletes who were competing, built bobsleds, researched China, wrote in a daily journal and graphed the gold, medal and bronze medals. Canada finished with 26 medals 4 Gold, 8 Silver and 14 Bronze!

I Love to Read with Karly

On February 15th we Zoomed in with Karly from the radio station 102.3 KISS FM. She read us “Pig the Pug” and then told us funny stories about her own dogs. Karly answered lots of questions about her job at the radio station and her pets. Did you know that you can also see Karly at Jets games helping out with 50/50 sales? And she also plays hockey with some of the Jets’ players wives and girlfriends.
