T.W.A.S.

This week at school we had the terry fox walk we were partnered up with the grade 12. Me and Desiree were with two friends so we stayed together. In Music we are doing a musical called the Legend of Polar Mountain. I am going to audition for Aurora the snow queen. In math class we learned a new math game called 100. The game is easy to play all you have to do is say numbers under 22 the first one to 100 wins.

Rainbows and Prisms

When rain falls it acts like a prism. The sun shines through and bends the light to make a rainbow. Andrew

WINKLER BIBLE CAMP

Me, Natasha and Holly sat on the bus together I liked the bus ride because I played on my Ipad and I sat on the bus with my friends. Then when we got there we put our stuff in the gym and after that we went to the ropes course there were other activities too like zip lining, Ropes Bridge, and a rope were you could swing across the water at first I said I’m not doing that because it looked like you could fall in so Easley I loved it so much I went again and again and again! When I was on the rope bridge I thought I was going to fall I don’t know why I was so scared I kept on saying Natasha, Natasha I was like I’m going to fall in the water I’m going to fall in and then Natasha said I did it three times! Stephan, and carl fell in the water well carl fall and then carl garbed or pulled Stephan’s leg and then they both landed in the water and Robert and Jordan jumped in they were all wet and they took a shower somewhere.  When I went to go zip ling I was so scared because it was so high in my mind at first I did not want to go but it was safe because we had harnesses on when I had to go up it was so cool there were so many step and it just kind of creped me out! When I was sitting on the zip line thing my tummy started to feel so weird but I kind of liked the feeling I don’t know why I think because I was so high? Me and Holly we went on this thing where you could balance on my and Holly went on at the same time and we almost made it but then we fell off it kind of hurt and we were both kind of surprised we fall cause we both thought we would make it across it was not even long so then we wanted to try it again but we had to go sad for us because we wanted to do it again. We went rock climbing and I was kind of exited but I thought it would be too hard to do it but I tried It anyways Holly did not want to do it but I wanted to try everything there  so we had to put a helmet on and a harness I had a blue helmet I loved that colure! So then we had to line up it took a tiny while to get my turn so me holly, Natasha went to go get a snack so when we came back it was my turn so then then I tried it and I went higher and higher and higher and then I got to the point where I could almost touch the bell and I just could not because my hands the hurt so much but then I gave it another try and I rang the bell I was so happy but after my hands hurt a lot and then after rock climbing we went to go eat lunch at the park my mom made me such a big lunch I could not finish it all I loved lunch so much because I was so hungry me and holly were on the swings we moved a lot because bugs kept on going on our face and every were else too then lunch was over and we went horseback riding I loved it so much my horse was a girl and her name was lady we got to ride by ourselves and we followed a track through the woods. When horseback riding was over we went back and we got off our horses I was scared to get off my horse because my horse was kind of big! Then it was the boys turn and they went horseback riding and the girls looked at all the animals there were little bunny’s they were so cute then the boys came back and we had to go after that we went canoeing I loved canoeing it was so much fun! So then 2 guys told us what to do and then me holly and Natasha went in one canoe but we had to put life jackets on so then we started going at first we did not know how to use the oars but then we asked this guys and he told us how to use them. We went under a bridge and then we got stuck in the rocks and then we used our oars to push off we got stuck 4 times I always slashed Natasha it was pretty funny so then we went back because me and holly had to go to the bathroom and Natasha was wet so then we  went back and then I sat in the water and my pants got all wet so then we went to the bathroom and when we were done we had to go then we went to archery and after that we went to go eat supper we eat hotdogs and there were chips to and we got juice there but me, holly and Natasha drank coke and sprite and then we went back to the bus and we went home I loved Winkler bible camp I would go again some time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday Night

We had a water fight and we had fun.  Then my daddy brought my new bike on Saturday.  My family had fun together. My daddy brought small water guns. There color’s were two blues yellow and red. We had a fire and I got a bruise on the back of my leg from my bike peg, it hurts a lot!

Winkler Bible Camp

Chapter 1 ropes course

On Wednesday June 5, 2013 we went to Winkler bible camp. We had to go across a creek. My feet were on a wire and I was holding another wire with my hands. I was afraid I was going to fall into the creek. Then we walked across stumps, then we stood and held a wire like before but wasn’t as scary because I did it before and we weren’t going over the creek. Then we walked across stumps again then we had to walk across tires hanging in the air by a chain, then we had to walk on stumps again, then we came to a play structure and went inside and climb in it but it wasn’t that hard because they bolted a ladder in. then we came to the creek again and went across it will walking on a wire a 2 wires attached to the wire you walked on. It was very wobbly. Then we went on a zip line. You sit on a seat made of wood.  It was fun but not scary. You walk back and give them the harness and your helmet. Then we went on a Tarzan rope. Then I and Carl went across a tree going across the creek. Carl lost his balance and grabbed me and we fell in. then Jordan fell in for no reason. We had a shower so we don’t stink. I was the only one who had extra clothes. I gave Jordan my swimming trunks but his shirt was still wet.

 Chapter 2 rock climbing

Because Jordan and Carl were wet they couldn’t rock climb but they could bolder. I climbed the crevice and shmeasy. The crevice to ring a bell you needs to hang upside down. I didn’t let go or need the rope to go up. The shmeasy took me like 2 minutes to finish. Robert tried to climb shmeasy but he chickened out. But Robert did the crevice. Carl didn’t get to climb but Jordan did. Most of the time we boldered.

 Chapter 3 lunch time

Then we got our lunch I was throwing a juice box up a slide at Carl and then Robert asked if he could and I said sure. On his 1^st throw he exploded it. Good thing I packed 3 juice boxes. After lunch we had free time. We played mini golf. I hit a ball like 50 feet in the air. It was fun. I did the course like 10 times. It was awesome.

Chapter 4 horseback riding

So after mini golf we went to a barn. We got split into two groups. 1 group was boys the other one was girls. The girls rode first, while the boys were petting the animals. There were kittens, a guinea pig, rabbits, chicken, horses, sheep, goats and some ether animals. When the girls got back we went. My horses name was sunny, Carl’s horses name was dino and Jordan’s was gizmo. We went on a trail. I liked my horse. It

 

Chapter 5 canoeing

    After horseback riding we went canoeing. Me, Carl and Jordan were canoeing buddies. I was at the front Carl was in the middle and Jordan was at the back. I and Jordan paddled left and Carl paddled right. We had saying to paddle. Carl’s way we all paddled right and Jordan and Stephan’s way meant to paddle left. We didn’t know for a while the person at the back steers. We crashed in to some people and land. I and Jordan switched but it was harder that way so we switched back. It was our favorite out of all. We almost flipped it a couple times, but we never did. Close to the end we played tag so you have to crash into or touch there boats to tag them. It was awesome. That was all our first times canoeing. 

 

Chapter 6 archery

After we walked to archery. I Robert and Noah took a shortcut. The commanders split us in groups. Group1, group2 and group3. I was group 1 we went last and group 3 went 1^st.  I hit the target 2 times, Carl hit the target 7 times and Jordan hit the target 3 times, it was fun.

 

Chapter7 the wiener roast

After archery we had a wiener roast. I had 1 hot dog and some chips. After we had free time again and I played mini golf. It was the best field trip ever I loved itJJJJJ!!!!!!!!
