A New Year!
Welcome Back, Grade 3/4! 🎉✏️📚
Welcome back, amazing learners! Our classroom is ready for another exciting year filled with new adventures. This year, we’ll read awesome stories, solve tricky (but fun!) math puzzles, explore science experiments, and create cool projects together.
We’ll also play games, make new friends, and cheer each other on as we learn and grow. Our classroom is a team, and every single one of you is an important part of it!
I can’t wait to see the awesome things you’ll discover, share, and achieve this year. Let’s make it the best year yet! 🌟
We're all Smiles! 📸✨
What an amazing first day in Grade 3/4! Our classroom was full of excitement, big smiles, and lots of energy. We jumped right into learning, building our classroom community, and getting to know each other.
I’m so proud of how everyone started the year with kindness, courage, and curiosity. This is just the beginning of all the wonderful memories we’ll make together this year! 💛

🎨 Spring Blossoms in Bloom
Each tree was unique—some had big, fluffy flowers, while others had delicate blossoms scattered across the branches. Together, they looked like a whole grove of springtime beauty!
It was the perfect way to welcome the new season and let our creativity blossom. 🌸

🌾 Discovering the Living Prairie Museum
Our class had an amazing day exploring the Living Prairie Museum! We learned so much about nature and the world right beneath our feet.
First, we dug into the soil to see what was hiding there. We discovered decomposers—tiny creatures that help break down old plants and turn them into rich, healthy soil. We even learned how composting uses the same process to help gardens grow.
Next, we explored the wild grasses of the prairie. Some were tall, some short, and each had its own way of surviving in the open wind and sunshine. Along the way, we talked about the needs of all living things—like food, water, air, and shelter—and how plants and animals find them in the prairie.
It was a day full of digging, discovering, and appreciating the amazing prairie ecosystem. We can’t wait for our next outdoor adventure!
