South Korea

Sebastian chose England because of his family’s roots. He shared that popular meals in England are fish and chips and bangers and mash. He brought Yorkshire pudding for us to try! Did you know that in England there is no traditional clothing?
South Africa
We learned a lot about South Africa! Did you know that this country is the largest producer of macadamia nuts? There are more than 2000 shipwrecks around the coast. We learned that elephants, girafes and zebras and wild animals in South Africa.
Ukraine
Adalynn took us to Ukraine. We watched Ukrainian dancing and looked at some places to visit like Oink Lake and the Kherson cliffs. Adalynn brought us kovbasa sausage to try.

Austria
Madison took us virtually to Austria. She shared some beautiful pictures of the mountains and small villages. She wore her version of a dirndl and demonstrated a folk dance. Did you know that the first postcard came from Austria? Madison ended her presentation by sharing apfel strudels. So delicious!

Chile
Jillian shared many family souvenirs from Chile such as a wall hanging made from llama fur, Chilean pesos, jewelry and several photos. Grapes, kiwi and other fruit are grown in Chile. Did you know that the largest swimming pool in the world is in Sam Alfonso del mar, at a private resort in Algorrobo Chile?
Turkey
Asher took us on a little journey to Turkey! He painted a flag and brought us some delicious baklava to sample. Everyone thought it tasted like apple pie! Did you know that the currency in Turkey is Lira?
Italy
Kaydence took us to Italy! She demonstrated an Italian dance while wearing an example of a traditional Italian dress. We got to sample bruschetta with cheese sticks and crackers. It was yummy!
