We are back at school! We have enjoyed getting to know each other in the last two weeks. We have talked about how we need to do our personal best at school and be safe and respectful. We attended an assembly today about Terry Fox. The video showed us how strong Terry was and how he ran a marathon every day to inspire Canadians to help fight cancer. We will be raising money and walking on September 30th at the Stampede grounds from 2-3. Please join us!

To mom and dad

This week at school we had a substitute her name is Ms. Herda she is a nice. She subs high school and used to be in Mr. Moore's classroom. This is the first time she has been in our class. And she likes it.  Mrs. Edel made Jello for how to writing. We got some after it cooled off. She did it step by step. She made some orange jello and some red jello. How to writing is where you pick a topic and write about it in steps. So like step one: first you put the jello mix in they put 1cup of hot water in and then you just keep  going on. We all had to write about how to make jello. We are going to write about our own thing we can do and show our class it. Love Molly

T.W.A.S

This week at school we are doing research about Manitobans😄. Mine is Ruby D'Halla. She was born in Winnipeg. She is best known for being a doctor. We are doing work on writing. Our persuasive writing is to convince someone to change the rules. I am doing the rules of a semi truck. I think that the premier should reduce the rules of a semi truck. Four axles for trailers so more loads. Because you can take fifty loads a day. Unmuffled pipes because I like them. I want unmuffled pipes because they sound nice. I want him to change the rules because it would be more fun.

Skating

We had a great time skating this winter!

Ethan's TWAS

This week at school we had Ms. Sul come to our class. She taught our class how to play creations and bean division. In bean division you say 1'2'3' shoot and whatever number is on your finger you add it to your partner's number. If 2 + 3 is 5 then you have to make groups of 5 beans. Whoever has the least amount of beans leftover gets a bingo. The winner is the first person to get 10 bingo chips. She is the best math teacher. I like her games. They are fun to play. She is so fun. I hope she will come back soon. We had soooooooooooooooooooooo much fun with her. She is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice. by Ethan
