We researched different countries and how they celebrate Christmas. We learned the languages that people from these countries speak. We also learned about the weather at Christmas and what they eat and how they decorate their homes. We shared our projects with our class and then Mrs. Blanchette's 1-2 class.
We researched the country of Jordan. It is in the northern hemisphere. They speak Levantine. They farm wheat, barley, tomatoes, egg plants, grapes and tobacco. by Jordan and Andrew

We researched the country of Brazil. They speak a bit of Spanish but their main language is Portugese. They have homemade presebres and nice red, green flowers. The temperature at Christmas is very hot and humid. by Joyce & Aylie
In Germany there is snow and rain in December. The temperature ranges from -5 to 10 degrees celcius. They eat spice cake, cookies and potato salad. They learn Latin or Russian. Germany is on the continent of Europe. by Elaina and Desiree
We researched the country of China. It is summer at Christmastime. We learned that they eat chicken for their Christmas dinner and they speak Mandarin. by Stephan and Ethan
